Cookbook Review: ‘Bite Me’ Written By Julie Albert & Lisa Gnat

Written by two Canadian sisters. This cookbook includes fun, tasty, easy and simple recipes to satisfy all taste buds including the pickiest eater in your family.  It is fully loaded, complete with delicious recipes and racy photos, and enjoyable commentary.

‘Bite Me’ contains a fusion of  spicy, sweet and savoury dishes that are easy to make and can fit into the busiest of schedules. A personal favourite and a “kiddie-hit” was the Creamy White Bean Spread with Asiago Crackers.  Be warned, your home will have an overwhelming aroma of asiago cheese, but the payoff is well worth it.  Your children will ask for the asiago crackers for school snacks, lunches, and at all meal times every day. Another must try recipe is the H-Crusted Beef Tenderloin.  It has a short ingredient list, quick prep time and ready out of the oven in forty-five minutes, so it is great for mums who have other things to do besides cooking dinner.

I would definitely recommend this cookbook to mums because it contains easy recipes without the long preparation.   Most of the recipe ingredients are easy to come by at local supermarkets or are already readily available in the cupboard.  Mums will enjoy the tasty wholesome recipes and will be delighted that the kids will also enjoy eating them.

Cheers!
